  Sansho Giken (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd (SGM) was incoporated on 3rd August, 1995.
All the issued shares are owned by Sansho Giken Co. Ltd of Japan.

   

The authorised capital is increased to 25 million shares of RM 1 each, and the paid up capital is 10.001 million shares. The factory in Malaysia manufactures high precision zinc die cast parts; connectors & Precision Engineering Plastic parts and moulds, tools, dies and parts thereof and eventually mold design at a later stage.

SGM Quality Management System has satisfactorily met with the requirements for the award of the prestigious MS ISO 9002:1994 Certification by Sirim QAS Sdn. Bhd. since 23.4.1999 and subsequently upgrade to ISO 9001:2000 Certification by Lloyd's Register Quality Assurance since 9.4.2002.

SGM geared toward the establishment of a recycle system, and we have been successfully accredited with the environmental management systems
ISO 14001:1996 Certification in 3.3.2004. 
 

History of the Sansho Giken Group

Jun. 1969 Sansho Giken Co., Ltd. was founded.
Nov. 1972 Set up Die-cast division.
Dec. 1976 Toyama Parts Co., Ltd. (currently Sansho MEC Co., Ltd.) was established as the plastic molding division. (capital : JPY 5 million)
        1977 Sansho MEC Co., Ltd. manufactured keyboards for electric calculators. (50,000 units / month)
Aug. 1980 Capital increased to JPY 60 million.
        1982 Sansho MEC Co., Ltd. started plastic injection molding with three molding machines.
Started production of molded parts for automotive connectors.
May 1984 Established Automated machinery division.
        1985 Sansho MEC Co., Ltd. expanded one factory building for injection molding.
Sep. 1986 Constructed the new exclusive die-cast factory at the Kamiichi premises.

Sansho MEC Co., Ltd. started connector assembly production (Combined use of parts).
        1988 Sansho MEC Co., Ltd. established in-house stamping division.
Dec. 1989 Uconn Technology Inc. was established in Taiwan as a joint venture.
Oct. 1991 Constructed the new mold manufacturing factory at the Kamiichi premises.

Sansho MEC Co., Ltd. constructed the Arikane factory.
       1993 The automated machinery division of Sansho MEC Co., Ltd. started its operation.
Apr. 1995 Constructed a new factory for the automated machinery division at the Kamiichi premises.

Nov. 1995 Sansho MEC Co., Ltd. acquired ISO9002 (1994) authentication.
Apr. 1996 Established Sansho Giken Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. die-cast production in Malaysia.
Started operations of stamping factory at the Hongo premises.
Jun. 1997 Sansho In-house Co., Ltd. was established as machining division.
Jun. 1998 Sansho Giken Zhuhai Co. Ltd. was established in Guangdong of mainland China.
Apr. 2000 Constructed the Technology Center at the Kamiichi premises. (Building : 1,480m2)
       2001 Sansho MEC Co., Ltd. started operations of connector assembly factory at the Hongo premises.
Expansion transition to ISO 9001 (2000).
       2002 Company name of Toyama Parts Co., Ltd. was changed to Sansho MEC Co., Ltd.
May 2003 Acquired ISO 14001.
